Newton Kitchen Renovation

  This project was a cosmetic overhaul of a kitchen that was beginning to show it’s age. The existing kitchen was dressed in darkly stained cabinets and the ubiquitous black granite countertops of the 1980’s. Small windows and poorly arranged appliances added to the impractical kitchen. The new design was an exercise in kitchen renovation using planning and material coordination.  We installed a large picture window along the sink wall that overlooks the rear yard and floods the kitchen with daylight. A 48” Thermador professional grade oven anchors the far end of the kitchen with an island centered in the space. Independent built-in refrigerator and freezer line the wall opposite the island. We worked closely on the material and color palette of the kitchen matching custom cabinet finishes with solid slab quartz countertop and backsplash.
