This airy space is actually the top floor of an 1870’s farm-style house that had been carved into condominiums in the 1980’s. The new owner was drawn to the wide-open space of the loft style home. Unfortunately, much of the work undertaken in the original conversion to create this space, had removed significant structure serving to hold the building together. Beyond the cosmetic task of working with the owner to renovate the space, special care was required in order to rebuild the essential structure that had been removed.
